Grilled Salmon/Trout Ken's Favorite
Morton Seasoned salt, paprika, pepper, little garlic powder. Rub seasoning and olive oil
over fillets, place directly on preheated grill at medium-med high, close lid, cook for
approx 6 minutes (depending on thickness & grill) flip and cook another 6 minutes. I
use non-stick spray on the grill grates to ensure no stick. No need to keep the skin on
for this, less fat! Serve with local grown asparagus or other veggie and rice or potato.

Honey Glazed Salmon
3/4 c honey 1/3 c soy sauce 2 tsp olive oil 1 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 c dark brown sugar (packed) 1/4 c pineapple juice
1 lemon, juice of(2 Tbsp) 2 Tbsp white vinegar 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp paprika 1/4 tsp garlic powder 4 (8 oz) skinless salmon fillets
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally until
sauce comes to a boil, then simmer uncovered for 15 minutes or until syrupy. Watch
closely so sauce doesn't boil over. Preheat grill to medium heat. Rub each filet with
vegetable oil, then add a light sprinkling of salt and pepper. Grill salmon for 4-7 minutes
per side or until done. Serve salmon with a small cup of honey sauce on the side or on
top of filet.
